Wine is the Earth's answer to Sun

My father had a dream…

When the war came to Florence, my father, the eldest of three children, was a young man; at that time you were already a man at thirteen. The war had taken everything away from his family of merchants. But when you have a dream, hunger passes and you start again to live and work. With his bike and his commitment the work started again. The horse replaced the bike, then the horse was replaced by the first truck. My father had a dream. The work, respect for customers, the intuition that guided him in all his choices made him to change his life and that of his family. With that dream he came to Greve in Chianti, where he bought La Camporena. Here he began his new adventure, still full of sacrifices but repayed by great satisfaction. A different job in a completely different world. So much effort, so much sweat from that forehead full of thoughts and concerns. So much determination and ambition in his mind. My father had a dream: growing even more. A new twist: creating a farmhouse. One day, while snooping between the collection of wine bottles of almost all the companies in the area, I took by chance one from 1967, the year of my birth, my heart stopped and I understood. The label was from La Camporena. My father had a dream and from there I started my own. I started in 2006 to produce wine with my love and with people like me who work with their hands and their heart. Today I proudly present my wine, trying to enclose in a chalice the essence of life, the tough months of work and waiting to get to the desired result. Because contrary to what many believe, wine is not born in a cellar. Wine comes from the earth, from the vine, from sweat and dedication. I have a dream, and when you bring my wine to your lips, it can tell you about it. Dedicated to my father, the greatest man in my life.
